I am not saying that you should not be optimistic. In fact optimism and the confidence it creates is essential for creating and sustaining the motivation you need to achieve your goals. There have been a number of studies that have found that the best predictor of an individual’s success is whether or not they believe they will succeed. There is a difference between realistic optimism and unrealistic optimism.

Realistic optimists believe they will succeed but they also understand they have to make success happen. People reach goals through effort, careful planning, persistence, and choosing the right strategies. These people understand that they will face obstacles and that preparation and persistence and a positive mental attitude will help them overcome obstacles. Unrealistic optimists believe that success will happen to them, that the universe will somehow reward them for positive thinking or somehow transform them into someone who can magically overcome obstacles.

Unrealistic optimists will happily tell you that you are being “negative” when you dare to express concerns or focus to long on obstacles that block your goal. The truth is that thinking and focusing on how to overcome a problem is essential to every successful endeavor. The truth is that thinking about only what you want to the exclusion of everything else will not allow you to obtain success. There is a difference between wishing and hoping for success and taking positive action to achieve it.

I’m going to share with you some of the very basics that you need to use, as well as a few other steps, to help increase all of these areas in your life anymore fulfilled manner so that you can be successful in all of the areas of your life.

One of the first things I’m going to start talking to you about today is working with your own goal setting and affirmations. This is something that many people have already started tapping into when you’re working on their money issues.

Specific goals are something that really needs to be in the forefront of your mind when you’re working with different types of affirmations in your life, whether it’s for these money issues, or for something else. You have to have them very specific, and not vague for this type of work to be successful.

Now many people wonder know why it has to be very specific. It is because the universe does not understand what vague things are in your life. If you’re asking for something that is very general with your money issues, the universe is going to bring you the very smallest amount of this into your life. It does not understand that you want a specific thing if you do not explain that way.

Probably the next biggest thing you have to remember is to work on the positive when you’re working on setting your goals, working with affirmations. If you’re putting things in a negative times, you want to make sure to switch to surround because the universe does understand and bring things to you how you asked for them. If you’re focusing on issues in a negative way for your money issues, it’s only going to bring more that negativity around.

I would like to share with you probably one of the biggest mistakes that I see happening, and many of my clients when they’re working with affirmations and goals for their money issues in their life. This is something that many people do not even realize that they do. When you’re writing out your affirmation or goal statement, you want to make sure that everything is stated in the present tense. Sometimes people will put that they have achieved things in their life. They don’t even realize that the word achieved is actually in the past tense, not the present.

I also would like to share with you some new fun ways to help incorporate and enhance all of these goal statements and affirmations that you’re working on. You can incorporate crystal healing when you’re working with these money issues in your life and helping boost all of this type of work. When you’re doing this, you can make this as fun and easy as you want. It is about finding the crystals that resonate within you, cleansing and programming them thoroughly, and working with them throughout your time frame to help enhance and achieve all of these goals.

An additional tip that I would like to share with you is by working on enhancing and developing your spiritual connections from within at your higher self and spirit guides. They will help you achieve all your goals in your life, whether they’re your money issues, or other goals as well. When you establish a stronger connection from within, this will help enhance everything in your life through many different ways. It is not just about being and having that spirituality connection, but it also makes you feel better from within as a whole person.

Probably one of the biggest things that most people get hung up on when there dealing with their money issues is that they see what works for one person and believe that it has to work for them as well. It is about finding something that’s going to work for you, your life, and enhance your life for all of these issues in a positive manner. No two people are like, see have to find something that resonates within you.

I do not want to forget this last little bit of information before you finish this article, and that is making sure that you don’t everything out in your life on a mind – body – spiritual level connection. It is important that you make sure you tap into all of these areas so that everything is in a balance state of manner.

These are just some of the few tips that I have shared with you today in this article. There is so much more out there that is available at your fingertips to help you increase and work on achieving all of those money issues in your life.

My last little tip of advice I would like to share with you are some other little very short phrases that you can say on a day-to-day basis to help you stay in a positive mindset. You can work with things such as I can do this, I have this, or I earned this!

Overcoming Adversity – 5 Steps to Success Against Overwhelming Odds

Where there is a challenge, there is a solution. Whatever challenge you are facing, it can be overcome. My fathers experiences were always a reminder that you can rise to your adversities. During the 1960′s, dad was elected by fellow students to represent the student body on the Committee on Appeal for Human Rights.

After the use of non-violent protest, such as sit in’s and marches, the students were successful and the businesses in Atlanta desegregated lunch counters. Those students overcoming their adversity, taught me five lessons on how to make dreams a reality.

1. You don’t have to be the leader to make a difference. Anyone willing, can be involved in the success of the organization. When I was growing up, there was a picture in my father’s office that reminded me, that you don’t have to be the man in the middle to make a difference. In the center of the photo, is Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and my father is on the far right. The original photo is on my blog, see the link below.

2. There are no shortcuts to success. In an article dated January 15, 1962, My Dad was quoted as saying, “the price of freedom will never be on sale”. I beleive the same is true of success. What are you missing out on, by not going through the process? Quick fixes or leaving tasks incomplete may get you only part of your desired results. We have a choice how family, customers, and others view our work. Our actions speak about our character.

3. Use proven strategies. Their strategy of non-violence worked for Mohandas Gandhi. Make sure you do your diligence to ensure your strategy or process works. There are many gurus, self-help, thought leader types to listen to. Make sure they can prove their success?

4. Stay focused on the strategy. After you have proven that your strategy is sound, do not deviate from the process. Get help to make sure your application is accurate.

5. Celebrate your small wins! It’s important to affirm your work and your team. Don’t wait for the big win, congratulate and affirm the rest of your team on the small wins during the process. This enhances team morale in the organization and improves team confidence.
