Ways to get out of debt
To get out of debt, you can follow the steps as mentioned below:

1. Estimate how much you owe: You should make a list of your creditors and find out the total amount of money you owe. You can out the creditor with highest interest rate or the creditor with highest outstanding balance at the top.
2. Prepare a budget: Based on your monthly income and expenses, you should prepare a financial budget, to see how much money you can save each month.
3. Save more money: You should try to save more money by curbing your expenses on unnecessary things. You should also try to save more money by taking up a second job and doing household chores by yourself, instead of paying someone else to do that job.  Shopping for a cheaper insurance policy .

4. Contact your creditors: Once you know how much money you can afford to pay towards your debt, you should contact your creditors and negotiate with them, so that they will lower your interest rate and waive off charges for late payments. You can also opt for debt relief plans like, debt consolidation, debt settlement, etc.
5. Start to pay off your debt: Once you have agreed with your creditors for a repayment plan, make sure to make the monthly payments on time. In addition to the minimum amount, you should try to pay more, so that your debt will be paid off faster.
6. Stop incurring further debt: Till the time you get yourself completely out of debts, you should not use credit cards and incur further debts. Even when you will repay all the money you owe, you should try to live frugally, so that you can save more money, for times of emergency.

You should stick to your new repayment plan with self discipline, honesty and consistency, so that; you can pay your creditors and get out of debt in a shorter time, to enjoy a tension free life.
